Ocean Rae Bruce Obituary (1980 - 2012)

Ocean Rae Bruce was born on April 21, 1980 and passed from this earth on August 25, 2012. He is survived by his mother, Lori Smith; father, Bush Bruce; step-father, Mark Smith; daughter, Caylie Longworth; sister, Alena Polk; brother, Robert (Bobby) Bruce; nephew, Kaden Polk; Grandmother, Millie Root; Uncles, Bob Bruce, Russell Bruce, Steve Root, James Bynum, and Andy Bang; Aunts, Denise Bynum, Jeraine Root, Shari Bang, and Gina Layne; cousins, Terry Root, Jessica Bynum, Joshua Root, Lisa Bynum, and Jacob Bynum. Ocean passed suddenly of unknown causes. Ocean was a man with a great big heart and a lot of passion and will be missed intensely by those who loved him. A memorial service for Ocean Bruce will be held at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 5200 Fannin St., Houston, Tx 77004 on Saturday September 8 at 4pm. Refreshments will be served following the service.
