Thelma Lucile 'Lou' Biery Obituary (1927

Thelma Lucile "Lou" Biery, 93 Passed away September 12, 2021. She was born October 18, 1927 to J.I. and Nadean Hamilton in Silverton, Texas. She was a long-time resident of Texas City. Lou worked at Ham's Garage and T.C.I.S.D. She took immense pride in her home. She was an avid Astros fan and never missed a game. She was preceded in death by her parents J.I. and Nadean Hamilton, Husband James Hal Biery Sr., Daughters Jancie L. Callihan, Deborah L. Bradley, Brothers Tommy Hamilton, Leonard Hamilton, Eugene Hamilton, Sisters Mary Hamilton, Geraldine Evans and Iris Howell. Left to cherish her memories are her son, James Hal "Speedy" Biery (wife Julie), and grandchildren Kelly Vannucci (husband Rob), Jennifer Crain (husband Graylan), Brad Bradley, Jacque Biery (husband Jaime De La Ossa), and Matthew Biery (wife Andrea). Great grandchildren, Chasey Finklea, Cassy Finklea, Reese Vannucci, Lane Vannucci, and J. R. De La Ossa. Brothers, Charlie Hamilton, J. I. Hamilton, Jimmy Hamilton, and sister, Sue Meyers, many nieces and nephews, and dear friend Nancy Gatewood. There will be a visitation held at 1:30pm Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Carnes Funeral Home located at 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, Texas 77591. Burial to follow at Forest Park East @ 3pm.
