Tomas Gutierrez Sr. 73. our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather & Great Grandfatherwent to be with the Lord on March 26, 2021.Our loving Father was born on November 15, 1947 in Los Fresno, Texas. He is preceded in death by his son, Augustine Gutierrez (Chunky), his mother, Leandra De los Santos, father, Ramon Gutierrez, and his loving siblings. Tomas is survived by his loving wife, Linda Marie Gutierrez of 34 years; sons, Tomas Gutierrez Jr., Juan Angel Gutierrez, Johnny Solis; and daughter, Lisa Marie and husband Raul Zarate. He also leaves behind his many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tomas was a longtime resident of La Porte, Tx. He worked and retired from Munday Company after 43years of service. Guests are invited to share in a Celebration of Life Visitation from 6-7:00 p.m., with 7:00 p.m., Funeral Services to follow on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, TX 77591. Interment will be on 1:00 p.m., Wednesday. March 31, 2021 at Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery, Highway Alt 90, Gonzales, Texas 78629. As I Sit in Heaven As I sit in Heaven, I Never went away. So I sit in heaven and watch you everyday I try to let you know with signs That I never went away I hear you when you're laughing And watch you as you sleep, I even place my arms around you To calm you as you weep.
