Toney Sinclair

Toney Eugene Sinclair, age 89 of Alvin, Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026. He was born December 03, 1936 in Nowata, Oklahoma.

Preceded in death by his father, M.J. Sinclair of Texas; mother, Ruby Wilkerson of Oklahoma; brother, Buck Sinclair of Arizona, and son-in-law, Sherman Argo of Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ann Sinclair of Alvin, Texas; daughter, Rhonda Argo of Alvin, Texas; son, Randy Sinclair and wife Lisa of Alvin, Texas; grandchildren, Amber Sinclair, Brandon Sinclair, Christopher Sinclair, and Kayla Sinclair of Alvin, Texas; great granddaughter, Gabriella Dibala of Alvin, Texas; sister, Allison Thompson and husband Don of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. And many nieces and nephews.

Toney traveled all over the world while working as an Electrical Inspector. He “retired” a few times but couldn't get the hang of staying home and sitting still. His last job in which he said was not a job because he loved what he was doing, was being a park attendant for Pine Gulley Park in Seabrook. He loved watching the people as they were on the pier fishing. He loved being outdoors and truly loved nature and watching every animal he could. He enjoyed many years of hunting and fishing with his son, Randy.

Toney proudly told everyone he met that he had the best family in the world.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 6, 2026 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in the Chapel of Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, TX 77591. Toney’s Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Dominque Jackson officiating.
