Wanda Marie Venable Obituary (1945 - 2021)

Wanda Marie Venable, 76, passed away on March 6th, 2021 at her home in Houston Texas. She was the widow of Harry Venable. They shared 30 years together. Born in Orange Texas, she was the daughter of Allen Fox and Amy Norma LeJeune Fox. She attended Orangefield High School and was later a resident of Kirbyville Texas for over 30 years. Wanda loved visiting with family and friends over coffee always giving a smile and a laugh. She enjoyed puzzles, games, and game shows. She will be remembered as a loving mother, and friend to all she met. She was a wonderful grandmother who gave all she had in helping to raise her grandchildren and endearing to each of their friends and eventually spouses. To each of those that she endeared, she would say "Call me Granny" with a big welcoming smile. Wanda is survived by her daughter Teresa Herrin and son-in-law Mark Herrin, grandchildren Mark Herrin Jr, Ashlei Dzenowski, Mikel Vincent, and Sean Herrin. Great grandchildren, Austin Dzenowski, Morgan Dzenowski, and Christopher Herrin. She was predeceased by her daughter Annette Venable. She was loved immensely and will be missed profoundly. Her love and light were indeed a beacon never to be forgotten.
