WILLIAM BENJAMIN "BENJIE" ADAMS III:\n\nBenjie was born on April 2, 1973 at Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He was born to William Benjamin "Bennie" Adams Jr. and Carolyn Davis Adams. Benjie and his older sister, Heather were raised in Texas City, TX by their mother Carolyn. They called themselves "The 3 Musketeers". Benjie was a loyal brother and friend to his sister and the apple of his mother's eye. Benjie was heavily involved in the Boy Scouts of America all through his youth and teenage years. He attended Texas City High School in Texas City, Texas where he played on the soccer team and participated in the band playing the saxophone. After graduating in 1992, Benjie moved to Boaz, Alabama and attended Snead State Community College where he received his Associate of Arts degree. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He took many trips to Alabama where he experienced the love of nature with his father. He had many years of family time with his step-mother Fran Adams and step-sister, Kerri Hughes.\n\nIn later years, he worked at a resort in South Dakota and then Colorado, continuing to enjoy his love of the outdoors. Benjie did eventually settle down in Houston, Texas working for United Airlines. Later changing careers in Sales for the Lowe's corporation.\n\nBenjie married Stephanie Carruth in 2002. They had one son, William Benjamin "Ben" Adams IV, along with step-children Jairn, Jordan and Jaime Janecka.\n\nBenjie was able to realize his dream of owning a motorcycle and purchased a Harley Davidson. He was honored to join the Disciple Christian Motorcycle Club. He took several rides and participated in events in which he thoroughly enjoyed.\n\nBenjie has friends from east to west, north to south all over this country. He was deeply loved by all of his family and friends and the void that is left from his absence is felt deeply by all.\n\nThe most important thing to remember about Benjie, is that he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is at complete peace with Him now and forever more.\n\nBenjie leaves behind his son - Ben Adams, mother, Carolyn Davis Cianciotto, sister, Heather and husband, Johnny Landry. Step-children Jairn, Jordan and Jaime Janecka. Nieces - Lauren and Megan Choate and Nephew Taylor Choate.
